Thank you for expressing interest in the Greater Philadelphia Lacrosse Officials Association (GPLOA). If you are passionate about the sport of lacrosse and are willing to take the steps to become an official, our association is here to support you.
As an association, we run a training program (see the cadet information indicated below) prior to the start of the season. No experience officiating or with lacrosse is necessary. In the course, we will review the following, lacrosse rules, officiating mechanics, administrative items (insurance, game assignment systems, payment processes, etc.), and general tips for officiating.
2025 Cadet Training Information
The 2025 cadet training is currently underway and we are no longer accepting applications. If you would like to participate in the 2026 cadet class. More information will be posted in the beginning of July.
