{"id":1203,"date":"2025-01-24T08:52:34","date_gmt":"2025-01-24T13:52:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gploa.org\/?page_id=1203"},"modified":"2025-04-09T07:43:34","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T11:43:34","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gploa.org\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Welcome to GPLOA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Greater Philadelphia Lacrosse Officials Association (GPLOA) was created to promote knowledge and further training for lacrosse officials in the greater Philadelphia area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gploa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/7503-1-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1338\" style=\"width:258px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The GPLOA has four main goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To provide game officials for the sport of mens lacrosse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To train and educate persons for officiating the sport of mens lacrosse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide a forum to instruct and educate players, coaches, and parents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To promote the growth and development of the sport of lacrosse. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our membership has over 100 individuals dedicated to serving the greater Philadelphia region. Our association officiates both high school and youth lacrosse and are considered independent contractors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If interested in joining our association, check out the  &#8220;New Member Information&#8221; page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have a general inquiry?
